My question is

My laptop is a gateway Model# MT6452. I had it since may of 2007 and bought it brand new. Now it won't charge and sometimes won't turn on...I know it didn't crash.. I was just wondering what could be wrong i tried the battery but nothing.

Please help!!

Hi Cheryl,

There could be any number of reasons why you are having problems with your laptop. You might have a problem with your AC adapter or the motherboard itself. The AC adapter may not be powering your laptop correctly or there could be a fault with the charging/power systems of the laptop. You might want to contact Gateway customer support or use their help forums to see if they can provide assistance. Or a service center like Geek Squad might be able to help you. Hope this helps.
