Hello, recently I bought a Arima w32044l battery to my gateway mx3563. When charging the first time, the maximun charge reached with the laptop off was 50%. Then I start the laptop with AC plugged and finally the battery reached the 100%. After use the battery for it first discharge, the battery does not charge with the laptop off. However, when the laptop is on the battery charge.

I contact the seller and he told me that I have to completly charge/discharge a couple of times to obtain the better result.

Now, it normal in a new battery?. I have my old battery that just keep the charge for lest than half hour and never it has ocurred.

If anybody have idea of what is happening, please let me know.
